Full Moon and Lincoln Clock Tower
I've lived within view of this castle for more than 15 years, but have never seen a full moon flirt with the clock tower quite like it did this Thanksgiving weekend!

Chinese President visit to Lincoln High School
Living just a few blocks from Lincoln High School, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to capture a few pictures of the visit to the school by Chinese President Xi in September, 2015. A few news stories about the event:

New Years' (a few weeks late) at East Asia Market
A few weeks back, I had the pleasure of witnessing a small New Years' dragon dance at East Asia Market in the Lincoln District. I was there for groceries, but was let in on the secret of the festivities to commence in just a few minutes - enough time to rush the few blocks home for my camera!
Not quite the drama of the Lincoln District-wide TET celebrations (see my post from 2010, or the post from 2009) which used to be a custom, but this intimate gathering was still a treat. Since actual fireworks weren't an option, the sound of fireworks was played over the store's speakers!
